6 Displaced, 1 Injured In Stratford House Fire, Official Says

The fire occurred at the back of the Stratford home, around the deck porch and rear breezeway, causing significant damage, an official said.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford firefighters responded Sunday to a house fire that displaced six people and injured one, a fire official said.

The blaze happened about 12:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Light Street, according to Stratford Fire Department Assistant Chief Michael Camperlengo, who was the on-scene commander for the incident. The fire occurred at the back of the house, around the deck porch and rear breezeway, Camperlengo said, causing significant damage.

One person required treatment for smoke inhalation, according to Camperlengo, who said the incident was under investigation as of Sunday afternoon.
