Community Update

You get to be part of history next Tuesday – if you’re a registered Democrat in Stratford.

For the first time, a town-wide Democratic primary will be held. 10,000 Democrats have the opportunity to choose who they want as their mayoral candidate.

This is democracy in action. Unlike the Republicans, we have energy and debate. Joe came very close to winning the Democratic Town Committee’s endorsement – in spite of being an outsider. He came so close because he took the time to talk with DTC members and offer everyone an opportunity to get to know him.

Mr. Paul,

I want you to know you have our vote at xxx Broad street. You actually live across the driveway from my best friend Kxxx Cxxx. I just wanted to let you know something. Not only do I respect what you are about, you have waved hi to my kids and myself when we were in your complex. That simple you are not fake, we like that. Beth has lived down the street from us the whole 9 years we have lived here, the kids and I have walked by herself everyday twice a day. She has not once greeted us or waved back to my children, just ignored them. Your wave and smile while we visited our friends got you our vote. Always remember especially to a mother with young kids how you treat the kids and interect with them speaks volumes. Good luck!!
