The repair work for the helicopters that transport the president of the United States will now be done in Florida: BREAKING

STRATFORD, CT — About 85 unionized Sikorsky employees will be affected by failed negotiations between Sikorsky Aircraft and the U.S. Navy regarding maintenance work on the Marine One helicopters, which transport the president of the United States, according to multiple reports.
The New Haven Register reports that the repair work will be transitioned to the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Florida and company officials will work with Teamsters Local 1150 to adjust the size of the workforce at the Stratford plant.
Some of the affected employees could be reassigned while others may accept the company’s offer of a “voluntary separation option,” according to the Connecticut Post.
