Amann Says Adding Ramps at Exit 33 Will Hurt Milford and Stratford
The former speaker at the State House of Representatives spoke at a press conference on Tuesday.

Jim Amann, former speaker of the State House of Representatives said a plan to add two ramps at Exit 33 on I-95 would have a negative impact on both Milford and Stratford, the Connecticut Post reports.
Amman made the comments at a press conference on Tuesday.
Amann said the plan to add a northbound on-ramp and southbound off-ramp would reduce the traffic going through Devon by one-half, the paper reports. Amann added this would results in a loss of revenue to many businesses in Milford’s West end.

The project could also further contaminate the groundwater on Stratford’s side of the Housatonic River.
