Kamil Sowinski, 19

Kamil Sowinski, age 19 of Stratford, died suddenly on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Born in Poland, he was the son of Miroslaw and Urszula Kloc Sowinski.

A resident of Stratford for more than 11 years, he was a graduate of Stratford High School and had just completed his first year at Housatonic Community College.

Survivors in addition to his parents are two brothers, Matthew and Adam Sowinski of Stratford; his paternal grandparents, Lucian and Stanislawa Sowinski; his maternal grandparents, Franciszek and Krystyna Kloc, all of Poland; and several aunts and uncles.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 7 p.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 310 Pulaski St., Bridgeport.

The Frank M. Radozycki & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Pulaski St., Bridgeport (Directly across from St. Michael's Church) is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Michaels Church in loving memory of Kamil.
