Blown Transformer Knocks Out Power at Stratford Town Hall
Town Hall will be closed for the remainder of Tuesday, the surrounding area is also impacted.
Stratford Town Hall will be closed for the remainder of Tuesday, Aug. 11, due to a blown transformer at Barnum Avenue and Main Street.
The power outage is impacting the area and Mayor John A. Harkins advises residents to avoid the area of possible.
United Illuminating is on the scene and estimates that restoration should be complete around 3 p.m., according to Harkins’ Facebook page.
