What's Cooking at Stratford Library?

Chef Claire Criscuolo of Claire's Corner Copia in New Haven will speak at Stratford Library on Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m.

For our next Sunday Afternoon talk we will host Chef Claire Criscuolo, owner/operator of New Haven's legendary vegetarian restaurant, Claire's Corner Copia. Stop in on Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m.

Claire Criscuolo graduated from the University of Bridgeport and is a registered nurse. Her love of wholesome foods, along with her desire to create exciting, healthful, home-cooked meals led her to the restaurant business only months after graduating from college.

Armed with the recipes she culled from a family of marvelous cooks she and her husband Frank founded Claire's Corner Copia in 1975. Now, in its thirty- eighth year, this vegetarian restaurant continues to thrive at its original location across from Yale University and the historic Green in New Haven, Connecticut.
