Winners of the Inaugural Blues on the Beach Golf Tourney

Braving the wet and wild weather the Inaugural Blues on the Beach Golf Tournament was a great success.

General Manager Don Samaltuski said over 50 golfers competed for trophies and other prizes. The camaraderie was fantastic and you could hear the music playing on the beach.

The winner of the mens' division, shooting a 27, was Ray Corica. The winner of the womens' division was Diane Simses, winning in a sudden-death playoff against Patricia Twigg.

The clubhouse was a great place for food and golf talk.

Next tournament up will be the Glow Ball Championship starting in August and ending in October. Knapp's Landing will again sponsor the event. Sign-up will begin mid-August.
