Bunnell Boys Track and Field May 6th Results

4x100 Remains Undefeated, nears record

On Monday May 6th the Bunnell Bulldogs traveled to Bethel to take on the Wildcats, Pomperaug Panthers, and the Joel Barlow Falcons in Southwest Conference high school track and field competition.
Although the team scores didn’t favor the Bulldogs, several Bulldogs would stand out above the rest in numerous events.
The 4X100 team of Marquis Lawrence, Tyreek Smith, Alex Mosley, and Christ N’Dabian continue to impress the league and are now eyeing a school record, plus league record, of 42.40 set by last year’s team of N’Dabian, Jonathan Cineus, Ramsley Exantus, and Eli Henry. The 2019 edition easily cruised into first place today with a time of 42.89 seconds.
The 100 meter dash saw N’Dabian in first at 11.44. Mosley capturing third at 11.97.
The 200 meter dash saw N’Dabian in first at 22.87. Smith in second at 23.44.
Smith took first place in the long jump with leap of 21 feet 6 inches.
Final Scores were Pomperaug 104 Bunnell 46, Bethel 96 Bunnell 54, Joel Barlow 80 Bunnell 70. Bethel 109 Joel Barlow 41, Pomperaug 109 Joel Barlow 41
Up next for the Bulldogs, Monday May 13th at Bunnell against Stratford High, Notre Dame of Fairfield, and the Panthers of Masuk. Starting time is 4:00.
