Bunnell Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus

People considered to be close contacts of the Bunnell High School staff member have been or will be notified by officials.

STRATFORD, CT — A Bunnell High School employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Connecticut Post. The staffer was last in school Monday, the Post reported Wednesday, and the employee has been told to self-isolate for 10 days. People considered to be close contacts of the staffer have been or will be notified by officials, the Post said.

The case at Bunnell follows news Tuesday of a Stratford High School employee testing positive for the virus. A Second Hill Lane School staff member was diagnosed with COVID-19 the first week of classes. Neither of the first two school district employees to test positive exposed members of their school communities to the virus, Superintendent Janet Robinson has said.
