Car Crashes Into Stratford Restaurant

No one was injured, according to a fire official.

STRATFORD, CT — Emergency crews were called Friday to a Stratford restaurant after a car crashed into the business, according to a fire official.

The fire department was dispatched just before 4 p.m. Friday to the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant at 2590 Broadbridge Ave., Fire Marshal Brian Lampart said Monday. No one was injured, he said, and the health department, building inspector and water company were notified about the incident.

Stratford police did not respond Monday afternoon to an email seeking additional information about the crash, and no one answered the phone at the Great Wall, which is closed Mondays.
