
Due to popular demand, the Stratford Library has announced that the CTWorks Career Coach, a career center on wheels designed to deliver career services and training opportunities at a variety of locations throughout Connecticut, will continue library visits through 2015. The Career Coach delivers free services to low-wage workers and job seekers in Southwestern Connecticut who are unable to get the services at local career centers due to lack of transportation, childcare or employment schedules.
Work one-on one with a coach or participate in a workshop. The Career Coach features computer workstations and Internet access in a classroom setting, an interview room, and an ADA-compliant lift and workstation for persons with disabilities. These workshops are free and open to job seekers 16 year of age or older. Basic computer skills are helpful but not required. First come, first served. Limited seating.
The CTWorks Career Coach will be on site in front of the Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street in Stratford, CT from 10 am – 3 pm each Monday session:
