Two Stratford teens charged in the January fire that destroyed the Shakespeare theater are also charged in five other arsons.

STRATFORD, CT — The cases for two Stratford teens charged with setting six fires, including the one that destroyed the iconic Shakespeare theater, are expected to be transferred and consolidated at Bridgeport Superior Court, where the Shakespeare case is being prosecuted, according to the Connecticut Post.

In addition to the Shakespeare blaze, Vincent Keller and Christopher Sakowicz, both 18, are charged in fires that took place: Jan. 15 at an empty Southbury Training School building, Feb. 8 at a vacant home in West Haven, Feb. 17 at the old Bilco Co. in West Haven, March 9 at Good Earth Tree Care in Stratford, and March 23 at construction trailers in Silver Sands State Park in Milford, the Post reports. Logan Caraballo, a third teen, is also charged in the Shakespeare fire.

The iconic Shakespeare theater, which opened in 1955 and had been visited by famous actors and actresses including Katharine Hepburn, was destroyed in the blaze. The fire began during the overnight hours of Jan. 13.
