CHRISTMAS COMES TO ST. JAMES
NOVEMBER 16th!
This is the day of our annual Christmas Craft Sale which is held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The entire school, from the gym to the kitchen and between, will be a buzz with holiday cheer and shoppers! We need your support to make this event a success!
Please respond this week as success is important to all of us in that the this is a top fundraiser and directly impacts our budgets. We have always been able to rely on contributions and support of our parents. So please, contribute as you can and help out as follows:
Baskets/Raffle: Each classroom has been assigned a specific item to provide for your classroom’s themed basket. The list by class is provided on the other side of this flyer. Please get these items in promptly to your child’s Teacher. We also accept additional donations of new items — perhaps a gift that you can’t use or isn’t your style — we can use it!
Décor: We need folks to donate Christmas decorations that we can utilize throughout the building to put our customers in the spirit of the season!
Table of Cheer: Please bring (students may not carry) donations of bottled wine and liquor to the school office. These are collected and raffled off in bundles. Clean-out your wine cellars (ho ho) and bring them in!
Attic Treasures: Donate used items in good condition to our treasures sale. Please limit donations to clean, useable household items, toys, books, games & such. No clothing please. Items may be brought to the school the week of November 11th. This is a great incentive to clean out closets, attics and basements or how about the kid’s toy chest?
Bakery: We need lots of bakers for our home baked goods sale. No store bought items please.
Booster: We have a booster table which keeps the kids very happy! We need new, toys, books, games, small prize items, etc. for this very popular table — the kids perennial favorite.
Kitchen Crew: Lots of helping hands are needed for our kitchen. Lunch and munchies are served throughout the day.
Volunteers: We need booth attendants to man the different booths that the school operates & also to work in the kitchen area. If you can give any time on November 16th or the week before to decorate the school, please let us know by filling out and sending in the form below & RESPOND ASAP!
