Ann Hess

Ann Pardo Hess, formerly of Stratford, Connecticut passed away quietly on June 4th, 2026 at Lanier Village Estates in Gainesville, Georgia. She leaves behind her dear sister Lydia Pardo McMinn of Madison, CT. She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Hess (Kimberly Decker) of Naples, Florida and David Hess (Tiffany Partridge) of Milton, GA. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Andrew Hess, Justin Hess (Caroline Baughman), Lauren Hess and Dillon Hess (Danielle Mead) and her three great grandchildren, Reagan, Brooks and Lucy Hess. She waspreceded in death by her wonderful husband of 62 years Charles Hess who was the love of her life, and her elder brother, Peter Pardo.
Ann was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on August 10th, 1927. She spent her formative years in the Northeast and earned her undergraduate degree at the Sargent College of BostonUniversity. She went on to teach in Minot, North Dakota butsoon settled in Connecticut having met Charlie and marrying in June of 1955. Ann was a devoted mother and wife, quickly becoming an active participant in the Stratford, Connecticut community. During their retirement years, Ann and Charlie spent their time traveling the globe and visiting their growing family. In 2013, they relocated to Gainesville, Ga where they lived out their final years.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to the loving staff at Lanier Village Estates who cared for Ann in her final years. We would also like to thank the PruittHeath Hospice staff for the help in managing our way through this difficult time. You are all special people.
Ann will be interred at a private family service.
