Cocaine, Fentanyl Seized From Stratford Home: State Police

Police say a man currently on parole was arrested after authorities executed a search warrant.

STRATFORD, CT — A man on parole was arrested Thursday after police found cocaine, fentanyl and cash while executing a search warrant at a home in Stratford. Shortly after 4 p.m. on May 16, members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, Statewide Urban Violence Cooperative Crime Control Task Force, and the Stratford PD Narcotics Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at a home in the 2700 block of Broadbridge Avenue in Stratford.

State Police say the target of the investigation, 37-year-old Edwin Abrams, was taken into custody without incident. During the search of the residence detectives located 192 grams of cocaine, 32.9 grams of fentanyl, scales and $281 in cash, according to police.

Police said Abrams was also found to be currently on parole. Parole was contacted and a remand to custody order was issued. Abrams was charged with multiple narcotic violations.
