STRATFORD, CT — Police are investigating after a Stratford woman said she was scammed out of $50,000 by a Stamford-based contractor, according to News12 Connecticut.
Venus Rogers told News12 Connecticut that she is a full-time caregiver to her daughter Amber, who is a quadriplegic, and she hired the contractor last November.
