Dads & kids get together to show tribute to the Stratford 150

STRATFORD IGIP of Sterling House help with town float for Memorial Day Parade.

When the dads & kids did their Memorial Day float last year (tribute to Iwo Jima) they were very proud. Evidently the mayor took notice because she asked STRATFORD IGIP if they wouldn't mind creating a town float this year. And create they did with the help, muscle & creativity from volunteer dads & kids alike the Stratford 150 was born.

Often dads are always trying to give life lessons to their children. One is trying to have them understand the true meaning of what Memorial Day is. Well what better way to take all the Stratford residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice & remember them by making a float that was almost 13 feet tall & over 30 feet long!!The Stratford 150 was very well received by parade goers at this years Memorial Day Parade. The town hopes to have it on display at certain functions this year. To learn more about STRATFORD IGIP go to www.stratfordigip.com
