Documentary “Genetic Roulette: the Secrets in Our Food”

Tuesday, May 21 at 7pm: Film, Panel Discussion about GMOs.

We will offer a special program about Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), “Genetic Roulette: The Secrets in Our Food”, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 7 pm. The program, co-sponsored with GMO Free CT, is free and open to the public.
The program will begin with a screening of the astonishing documentary, “Genetic Roulette”. The film, by bestselling author Jeffrey Smith of the Institute for Responsible Technology, provides compelling evidence to help explain the deteriorating health of many Americans, especially among children, and offers a recipe for protecting ourselves and our future.
The film runs 85 minutes and will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Cathie Iccarino and Tara Cook-Littman from GMO Free CT.
GMO Free CT offers numerous educational events throughout Connecticut, including movie screenings, panel discussions and specific presentations about Genetically Modified Organisms and their relationship to an increase in birth defects, infertility, allergies and cancer.
