STRATFORD, CT — School will be dismissed early Monday in Stratford due to expected inclement weather, according to a message posted on the school district website. All evening activities are canceled.

After a mix of rain and snow hit Fairfield County on Sunday, rain is expected Monday before 2 p.m., followed by a mix of rain and snow, and snow overnight, according to the National Weather Service. Over 4 inches of snow accumulation is possible Monday. The area is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
