
Lifeguard candidates must be at least 15 years old, must be able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl and/or breaststroke, and dive to a depth of 7-10 feet. Course participants will learn what it takes to be a professional lifeguard: job responsibilities; patron surveillance skills; rescue skills; first aid, CPR/AED skills; & oxygen administration.

We will provide a copy of the textbook (Lifeguarding by Staywell), a CPR pocket resuscitator, as well as a special parting gift upon completion of the class. We require that at least 4 participants register to run this course.
