The Old Stratford Neighborhood Association (OSNA) today announced that it will conduct its OSNA Candidates Forum on Tuesday, October 29th. The debate will take place at the Christ Episcopal Church in the Historic District starting at 7:30pm. This event, moderated by an OSNA member, will have a well-defined format to allow each candidate one last opportunity before Election Day to address the major town issues that are of most concern to our membership.
“For over 34 years, the Old Stratford Neighborhood Association has represented many hundreds of homes in the 1st and 2nd district and has taken the lead in addressing many important issues affecting our neighbors and the surrounding area, “ said OSNA president Henry Bruce. “OSNA has a rich history over the decades of conducting candidates forums with an open discussion of the issues. This process allows our membership and the people of Stratford to make an informed decision on who will best represent their interests for mayor and town council.”
All mayoral candidates and town council candidates from the 1st and 2nd district are invited to participate. The forum is open to all Stratford residents and will run from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. The Christ Episcopal Church is located at 2000 Main St.
