Free tax preparation and electronic filing of tax returns are being provided by the AARP and IRS for area residents at a new location this year. Services will be provided on Mondays and Tuesdays from February 3 through April 14 at Our Lady of Grace Parish Center, 345 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to noon and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Taxpayers should bring the following items:

- A photo ID
- Means to verify Social Security numbers of the taxpayers (and dependents, if any)
- All 2019 tax documents
- A copy of last year's tax return
- A blank check (to verify bank routing/account numbers), if expecting a refund
