Fugitive Arrested In Stratford: Police
Police say the man has avoided sentencing for several years.

STRATFORD, CT — A wanted man who has avoided being sentenced for several years was arrested after a drug raid at an apartment in Stratford, according to police. Travis Walton, 24, was arrested after a narcotics search warrant was executed on Woodend Road, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
“Walton is a fugitive who has avoided sentencing for approximately three years for weapons and domestic violence offenses,” Eannotti wrote in a press release. “The warrant was served by members of the Stratford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit along with Patrol and Detectives. Marijuana, packaging materials and money were also seized.”
Walton was taken into custody due to five outstanding warrants with a total of $400,000 cash bond. Eannotti said Walton was unable to post bond and was placed in the lockup and issued a court date of May 7.
