Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint In Stratford: Police

STRATFORD, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying the suspect in connection to the armed robbery of a gas station in Stratford on Tuesday night. Police have released surveillance video of the robbery, which occurred at the Gulf Express gas station on Honeyspot Road at about 11:40 p.m. on May 28.

The suspect entered the gas station and displayed a gun, while demanding money from the clerk, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti. The suspect took $50 in singles, walked out of the store but returned and threatened to shoot the clerk if he didn’t give him more money, News 12 Connecticut reports.

No one was injured during the incident, according to Eannotti.
