History Comes to Life with Former Slave Re- Enactment

Historian/storyteller Tammy Denease Richardson will re-enact Elizabeth Keckly, a former slave who became the seamstress and confidant to Mary Todd Lincoln on February 27 at 1 pm at the Baldwin Center. Keckly became Mary Todd Lincoln’s friend and became well acquainted with the president. Don’t miss this entertaining and educational event. Although there is no charge for this event, registration is necessary for planning purposes. Register by calling the Baldwin Center (203-385-4050) or by signing up at the Center’s front desk.
