The Larry Haddad Quartet will kick off the series on Dec. 3. Stratford’s Haddad will be joined with Michael Nunno (Milford), Joseph McWilliams (Seymour) and Joseph Corsello (Stamford) to perform several favorite holiday songs with their lyrical interpretations.
The series continues Dec. 10 with The New England Guitar Society. NEGS was established to create a nurturing environment for classical guitarists to meet, share ideas, perform, compose, teach and grow as musicians.

The NEGS goal is to increase the public interest in classical guitar, to ultimately create future players and audiences. The Society was conceived in 2004 by guitarists James Baird, president and Cem Duruöz, artistic director.
Concluding the Sunday holiday entertainment will be “A Broadway Christmas with Claire Kaiser” on Dec. 17. The Stratford vocalist and actress is a “mezzo-soprano with belt” who will perform holiday music with a Broadway beat. Accompanied by David Childs on the piano, Kaiser promises holiday cheer and fun for the whole family.
Stratford’s popular Sister Cities Chorus will also make an appearance at the Library on Dec. 11 beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a selection of seasonal standards.
The concerts will all be performed live in the Library Lovell Room. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first serve basis. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to start time.
