Homicide Investigated In Stratford: Police

Police are investigating a homicide that took place in Stratford.

STRATFORD, CT — Police are investigating a homicide that took place Saturday in Stratford.

Police responded around 11:40 p.m. on April 4 to the 400 block of Woodstock Avenue on the report of a disturbance, according to Capt. Jerry Pinto.

Pinto said the disturbance was the result of a homicide. The homicide is actively being investigated by Detective Bureau personnel, according to Pinto.

“This is an isolated incident,” Pinto wrote in a news release. “There is no threat to the public at this time.”

Pinto said more information will be released as the investigation proceeds.
