ID Released After Fatal Boating Accident In Long Island Sound
One man died, while three other people involved in the accident survived.

STRATFORD, CT — Officials have released the name of the man found dead after a boating accident Sunday. Eul Lee, 64, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, was killed in the incident, according to state conservation police.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's State Environmental Conservation Police are investigating the fatal accident in Long Island Sound, a news release from the agency said.
Four people were fishing from a vessel about 9:45 a.m. near the Stratford Shaols Light Station when the boat capsized, according to the news release. Bridgeport police, Fairfield police and the U.S. Coast Guard responded to the scene.

The Coast Guard rescued from the water a man from North Haven and two men from Bridgeport, all in their 60s, the news release said. The three men were taken to Bridgeport Hospital and released. Lee attempted to swim to shore, Coast Guard officials said, before he was found unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital, according to the news release.
Bridgeport police, along with Suffolk County police and the U.S. Coast Guard, are assisting conservation police with the ongoing investigation.
