Learn the Ukulele with Nina Lesiga and Friends

Ukulele enthusiasts unite! A free beginner ukulele lesson is being offered as a part of Make Music Day in Stratford and beyond. The day is a worldwide celebration of Music on June 21st, coinciding with the summer solstice..

"Learn the Ukulele with Nina Lesiga and Friends" broadcasts online in Stratford, Bridgeport, Norwalk in Connecticut and nationwide on Sunday, June 21st, 2020.

Nina coaches ukulele for the Stratford/Trumbull Adult Continuing Education program and the Sterling House after school program. She's presented "Ukulele for Everyone" during the Lifelong Learners series for the Stratford Library and Stratford Senior Services/Baldwin Center and for the Stratford Arts and Culture Festival:The Phoenix Season: Art from the Ashes.

For the Make Music Day ukulele lesson Nina is joined by Katie and Bill who are ukulele students.

Their free online ukulele lesson consists of a tutorial, demonstration and play along. Learn three great songs with three chords or less.

The free ukulele lesson will also be offered at 5:00 PM in a special 25x12 event where hundreds o teachers and master musicians will offer 12 hours of free online group lessons for 25 different instruments
