Stratford Home Run Derby Winner Advances To Finals In Atlanta

Stratford Little League player Alexander Binion, 12, advanced to the East Region finals for T-Mobile's Home Run Derby, which will be held in SunTrust Park in Atlanta Georgia this weekend.

Binion won the local T-Mobile Home run Derby competition held at Short Beach on June 9, 2019. He finished in the top 10 home run hitters of the Eastern regionals, which covers states from Maine to Florida and as far out west as Wisconsin. If he finishes in the top 4 this Sunday, he will will square off with other competitors in Williamsport for the championship of the inaugural T-Mobile Little League® Home Run Derby which will be held at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania this August.
