Low Water Pressure, Discoloration Possible During Planned Work

STRATFORD, CT — Aquarion Water Co. is performing maintenance work at its water treatment plant from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, according to a Facebook post from Mayor Laura Hoydick.

Customers may notice low water pressure or water discoloration as a result and are encouraged to store tap water in the refrigerator for drinking and cooking. If customers see discoloration, they should delay washing clothes until the water runs clear.
