Man Arrested Driving Stolen Car In Stratford: Police

The driver and passenger were both charged.

STRATFORD, CT — A Milford man faces several charges after he was arrested in Stratford driving a car that was reported stolen, according to Stratford police. The incident occurred before 11:30 p.m. June 8, when an officer saw a Honda Accord that had been reported stolen earlier in the day traveling on Stratford Avenue.

When the officer tried to stop the car, the driver, identified by police as Edward Farrell, initially refused to stop before pulling over a few blocks later on Connecticut Avenue. He and his passenger, Davin Paulk, were then taken into custody, Stratford police Capt. Frank Eannotti stated in an email.

Farrell, 38, is charged with larceny, engaging police in pursuit, operating with registration or license suspended or revoked, and reckless driving, according to police. Paulk, 28, of Bridgeport, is charged with larceny.
