Man Charged with Selling Drugs Near Stratford High School: Police

Police say the man, who was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, heroin and $4.6K cash, was arrested following a long investigation.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford man is accused of selling drugs near Stratford High School following a several-months long investigation, according to police.

Misan Duco, 21, of Stratford, was arrested Sept. 28 on a warrant as part of the investigation into a report of drug activity near the school, police said.

At the time of the arrest, Duco was in possession of approximately 35 grams of crack cocaine, 24 folds of heroin and $4,695 dollars in suspected drug proceeds, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.

Eannotti said all of the items were seized.

Duco was charged with two counts of illegal manufacture and sale of a controlled substance and one count of distribution of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school (Stratford High School).

Duco was released on a $75,000 surety bond and is due back in court on Nov. 18, according to the state judicial website.
