Man Sought For Violating Protective Order Found In Stratford: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man is accused of violating a protective order on three occasions and was taken into custody by Stratford police, Milford police said.

Milford police said on June 4 officers responded to a Waverly Avenue residence on a report of a possible domestic violence incident. Investigation led to the arrest of Roberto Villafane, 32, of Waverly Avenue, who is accused of going to the home of a female, who holds a full no-contact protective order against him, police said.

A short time after being released Villafane made contact with the protected party again using Facebook messenger, police said. He was located and detained by Stratford police and then taken into custody by Milford police, police said.

He is charged with three counts of violation of a protective order. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
