Man Threatened To Kill Girlfriend, Cat: Stratford Police
Police seized a gun and ammunition from a home after they say a man threatened to kill his girlfriend and her cat during a dispute.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford man is accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend and her cat during a domestic dispute, according to police. Christopher Fulton, 52, was arguing with his girlfriend at his home in Stratford when the dispute became physical and he said that he was going to kill his girlfriend and her cat, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Eannotti said that the woman was able to lock herself in a room and call police for help. Fulton fled the scene prior to police arrival and was later arrested in Fairfield with the assistance of the Fairfield Police Department, according to Eannotti. He was taken into custody without incident.
Police seized a gun and ammunition from the home in Stratford, Eannotti said.

Fulton was charged with first-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and illegal sale/distribution of a firearm. He was released after posting a $50,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19.
