Once confronted about providing the false name, the suspect identified himself as “Clint Lowery” through which officers learned he had an outstanding warrant out of Milford, police said. “Clint Lowery” was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters on the outstanding warrant, police said.

At headquarters, officers learned that “Clint Lowery” was also a fraudulent name, police said. A driver’s license photo and fingerprint scan confirmed “Clint Lowery” was actually Kahshem Douglas, 28, of New Haven, police said.

Douglas was charged with criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond.

While investigating the above incident, officers found Douglas had an outstanding warrant out of Stamford, police said. He was charged with first-degree failure to appear and held in lieu of a $150,000 court set bond.

Officers also found that Douglas had another outstanding warrant out of Stratford, police said. He was charged with second-degree failure to appear.
