Married, Shot By Bride's Father And A $1 Million Bond: Report
The accused went from getting married to being shot by his new father-in-law and later facing several sexual assault charges, police say.

NAUGATUCK, CT — On Aug. 5, James Aho, of Stratford, was married and within hours he was shot by the bride's father in Prospect, and would later be charged with four counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of fourth-degree sex assault, six counts of illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16, four counts of risk of injury to a child, and second-degree strangulation, according to police reports and the Republican-American.
Aho is currently being held in lieu of a $1 million bond and his new wife has since filed for divorce. At the wedding, Aho was confronted by someone about allegations that he molested children, and it sparked a police investigation where officers learned from a girl that she had been molested by Aho, police said, according to the Rep-Am.
A second girl also came forward against Aho, the Rep-Am reports. Aho has denied the allegations against him, the Rep-Am reports. The bride's father has not been charged, the Rep-Am reports.
