Milford Students Honored At HCC Awards Night

At HCC Awards Night

Some nine Milford residents were honored by Housatonic Community College recently at its Awards Night ceremony.

Three students, Sarah Bourt, Wendy Petruff and Thyjuan Stack-Rosario, each walked away with two awards. Bourt won the Tom George Endowed Scholarship and the Certificate of Achievement in Business Administration: Computer Information Systems.

Petruff received a Certificate of Accomplishment in Business Administration: Accounting and a Certificate of Accomplishment in Business Office Technology. Stack-Rosario won a Housatonic Foundation Scholar award and an associate degree program Academic Achievement in the field of Early Childhood Education award.

Other Milford award recipients include Brittany  Brooks, The College of Technology:  Excellence in Project Leadership in Engineering Science; Imelda Fernandez, Academic Achievement in LAS: Psychology Transfer Concentration; Melissa Gambardella, Outstanding Academic Achievement in Human Services; Joseph Ineson, Certificate of Accomplishment in Business Administration: Accounting; Diana Musante, Certificate of Accomplishment in Business Administration: Accounting; and Vincent Musante, Academic Excellence in the Field of Behavioral Health Care.
