Obituary: Keith E. Brown, 35, of Stratford

Keith Emery Brown, 35, of Stratford, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 4, 2016. Keith was born December 17, 1980 in Derby, son of the late Dennis G. and Sarah (Tenney) Brown and had been a lifetime area resident.

He was a 1998 graduate of Stratford High and enjoyed cooking, his X box games, and was an avid sports fan especially his New York Giants.

Survivors include his step mom, Gloria Dubey, who raised him and was the only mom he ever knew; three step-sisters, Mary Lea James, Dawn Marie Douty and Lori Christiansen; two half-brothers, Dennis and Christopher Brown; a special aunt, Phyllis DeMartino; his best friend of 26 years, Ronald Tyler and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his Nana, Phyllis Poshedly with whom he was especially close.

Friends are invited to attend his funeral service officiated by Deacon Timothy Bolton on Friday Evening, December 9, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford CT. Friends may visit with his family Friday before service time from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
