Obituary: Leonard Matto, 64, of Stratford
Lenny was an engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft for many years. He had a great love for music and was an accomplished Bass player.

Leonard Ralph Matto, 64, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital.
Born in Bridgeport on September 27, 1952 he was a son on the late Pasquale and Amelia Aquilino Matto. Lenny was an engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft for many years. He had a great love for music and was an accomplished Bass player. He will be deeply missed by his loving daughter Melissa Matto of New York, New York.

He is also survived by his siblings; Patrick Matto of Trumbull, Beverly Blake and her husband Dennis of Stratford and Louise Powers and her husband Stephen of Irving, TX and several nieces and nephews.
The hours of visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
