Linda Mae Quiriconi Chizmadia, 53, of Stratford, daughter of the late Anthony Joseph Quriconi and Audrey Jeanne Cunningham was taken suddenly on Saturday, October 10.

Linda was born in Bridgeport and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a 1980 graduate of Stratford High School, and was employed by People’s Bank, Bridgeport.

Linda enjoyed traveling, baking and cooking. She was a selfless person, who loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her beloved sons. She is survived by sons, David Redmond, John Chizmadia Jr., and Kevin Chizmadia and their father John Chizmadia. Her sister, Diane Quiriconi Desjarlais and husband Robert Desjarlais and godson, Robert Anthony Desjarlais of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and best friend and niece Lisa Poirier McCormick and husband James McCormick of Atlanta, as well as her niece Jennifer Couture. She was also blessed with a stepmother the late Ruth Caruso and several stepbrothers and sister, Daniel, Frederick and Michael, and Nancy Caruso all of Fairfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 16th at 9 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
