Obituary: Linda Lumley, 54, of Stratford

Linda Lumley, 54, of Stratford, died on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital after fighting a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born in Bridgeport to Anne (Goglin) Lumley and the late Vern Lumley. She was a 1980 graduate of Stratford High School. Linda worked for many years as a Billing Team Lead at Clayton Holdings.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Jessica Luna and her husband, David, of Stratford; her loving mother, Anne Lumley of Stratford; two sisters, Jennifer Lumley-Hluska and her husband, David Hluska of Shelton and Shellene Conder and her husband, Stephen, Sr., of Stratford; one brother, Michael Lumley and his wife, Michele, of Ansonia; her beloved cats, Daisy and Duke; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she had been predeceased by her loving canine companion, Missy.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stratford Animal Rescue Society (STARS), PO Box 1371, Stratford, CT 06615.
