Obituary: MaryAnn Bourdeau, 69, of Stratford

She was retired from the Stratford Police Department where she had worked as a record keeper.

MaryAnn Bourdeau, 69, of Stratford, died on June 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving husband of 48 years and her loving family while under hospice care at Bridgeport Hospital.

MaryAnn was born in Bridgeport to the late Arthur and Ann (Carrafiello) Casale. She was retired from the Stratford Police Department where she had worked as a record keeper. MaryAnn loved her family and friends and will be sorrowfully missed by everyone.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Paul Bourdear, Jr.; two children, Paul Bourdeau III of Milford and Cheri Bourdeau of Stratford; three grandchildren, Paul, Gabriel and Nicholas Bourdeau and Olivia McEwin; sister, Theresa Aurelia and her husband, Paul; several nieces and nephews; and other family members. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Casale.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:15 am at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford and at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 am until time of service.
