Parents' Place Serves Home Care Providers

The monthly provider/child play group offers providers the opportunity to come and meet other Stratford providers!

Stratford Parent’s Place has announced that the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County continues to provide funding for the Family, Friends, and Neighbors program. Many Stratford children birth through preschool are in the daily care of family, friends and neighbors in their homes. The Family, Friends and Neighbors program offers many services including a lending library of learning bags, ongoing support and outreach to providers, a home visiting program focusing on child development, and a monthly provider/child play group held at Parents’ Place.

The monthly provider/child play group offers providers the opportunity to come and meet other Stratford providers, discuss topics of interest and engage in play based activities. The group is facilitated by a certified Parent Educator and free of charge. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 9, 10:00-11:15 a.m. at Stratford Parents’ Place.

Stratford Parents’ Place, a family resource center located at Stratford Academy/ Johnson House, 719 Birdseye Street, is a program of the Stratford Public School. All programs and services are for Stratford residents. For more information about the program, or to register, contact Stratford Parents’ Place, 203-381-6992 or email carrerom@stratfordk12.org.
