Person Jumps Off Of Sikorsky Bridge In Stratford: Report
Emergency crews located the man and pulled him from the waters Monday evening.

STRATFORD, CT — Emergency responders pulled an "unresponsive male" from the waters under the Sikorsky Bridge after he jumped off of the bridge around 3 p.m. Thursday, the Connecticut Post reports. The U.S. Coast Guard also assisted in rescue operations, State Police told Patch.
There are no details on the person's condition except that when he was pulled from the waters he was "unresponsive," according to the CT Post.

According to the state Department of Transportation, there was a 4-mile delay on Route 15 or the Merritt Parkway between exits 52 and 54 on the northbound side of the highway at the time of the accident. The highway remains congested as of 5:30 p.m.
