Floral Tribute scheduled for 9AM TO 2 PM, SAT May 25, 2013
Every Memorial Day, many in our community visit local cemeteries to pay respects to those who served in the United States Armed Forces.
This Memorial Day, PHYL'S FLOWERS in STRATFORD is participating in the nationwide Memorial Day Flowers program and will give out roses to visitors.
Each visitor will receive one or two roses to place on a headstone to honor someone who served.
PHYL'S FLOWERS AND FRUIT BASKETS often supports various good causes, however this one is special and we are privileged to participate in honoring the people and families that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Flowers are a form of emotional expressions and a single stem placed on a headstone is an appropriate show of respect.
