Police Cracking Down On Seatbelt Violations In Stratford
Stratford Police are kicking off the 'Click It Or Ticket' campaign with extra patrols focused on promoting safe driving.

STRATFORD, CT — With Thanksgiving weekend quickly approaching, the Stratford Police Department and other law enforcement agencies will be kicking off extra patrols focused on promoting safe driving. Law enforcement officials are out on Connecticut’s roads enforcing the State Occupant Protection laws and issuing citations for those who are not buckled up, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
The extra patrols will focus on seatbelt violations and “other operations that have been shown to pose a risk to the motoring public and pedestrians,” according to Eannotti.
