Robert "Bobby J" August Jadach, age 70, of Stratford passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at home. He was born on April 7, 1946 in Derby to the late August and Helen Kozlowski Jadach.

Robert was owner of Bobby J’s Bait & Tackle in Milford, retired as a logistic manager for Exxon Mobil and proudly served in the US Army.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he is survived by his loving wife Janet Yurcisin Jadach, dedicated sons Richard Gould and wife Robin of Ansonia, Robert Jadach and wife Maria of Milford, Jason Jadach and wife Casey-Lee of Bridgeport and Jonathan Jadach of Stratford, grandchildren Jeffery, Tammy and Amber Gould, Brynn Herrera and Jason Jadach Jr, great grandson Dylan Keefe, sisters Helen DeFelice and Betty Sykes both of Shelton and brother-in-law Mark Yurcisin of Monroe and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held during the visitation at 6:30pm. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in his name to the Take A Kid Fishing Foundation P.O Box 1191, Morehead City, NC, 28557.
