Save the Date - 8th Annual Alumni Hall Of Fame Gala Set For November 19th

Housatonic Community College, in celebration of its commitment to supporting students in reaching their academic goals, announces the date of its 8th Annual Alumni Hall of Fame Gala. On Saturday, November 19, 2016 nearly 350 of the area’s residents, supporters and community leaders will attend a spectacular evening of cocktails, dinner and inspiration on the HCC campus, located at 900 Lafayette Blvd. in Bridgeport.

With a theme of ‘Stay Close, Go Far,’ the evening will present fascinating guest speakers and recognize HCC alumni who achieved outstanding success and made an exceptional impact on their community. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Housatonic Community College Foundation Scholarship Fund, which helps to finance the education of deserving students enrolled in HCC’s Associate Degree and Certificate programs.

“We ask the community to save the date for the gala, which has grown into the Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event,” said Richard DuPont, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement. “The gala goes beyond honoring the devoted alumni in our community, it raises important funds for our Scholarship Fund, which supports students who have demonstrated academic achievement and a need for financial assistance.”
